CATFLAP is a very small charity, particularly compared to other Glasgow cat rescue and rehoming charities.  All of our trustees and staff are volunteers, many of whom also work full-time, and our primary shelter is based in a private home.

This means that we do not have someone available to answer the phone, monitor the website and reply to emails, or monitor and respond to Facebook messages during standard business hours, although we try to cover these things when we can; and we are unable to accommodate unscheduled visits to meet the cats in our care.

Additionally, a home check is required before you come to meet the cats, so that we can help you choose a cat (or two!) most suited to your particular environment.

Please contact us before coming to the shelter, as unscheduled visits are likely to end in disappointment both for you and for us.
